Encryption

Encryption is the most used method for data protection, it takes normal text that everyone can use and understand, it then converts it using a cryptography algorithm into text that you can’t understand. When received by the intended recipient it is decrypted. Keeping the data that is being shared on this site encrypted, helps keep all users data safe and secure.

Location data

You should avoid any sites that request to use your location data, such as your live location, unless it is intended it be used for a specific purpose that you are aware of. This site does not request to know your location at anytime, there for we can not have a data breach where you private location can be compromised.

Wireless services

Be wary when using public WIFI or any open networks as they could be networks that are setup to fish for people’s data, also ensure that sites that you visit are HTTPS encrypted. The blog is all managed on a secure network that is private and runs through a vpn keeping data anonymous

Passwords

Make sure that you have strong passwords that can not be guessed randomly such as password or 1234. A strong password should be around 16 characters long, contain 1 uppercase letter, 1 number and 1 special character.  You should follow these steps when logging onto the blog.

Firewalls

A firewall is a software or firmware that sets rules about which data packets are able to enter or exit the network. This can help prevent the lose of private information, or the chance of a virus breaching your system to get your data. The blog is managed on a PC with a secure network and a strong firewall meaning the chances of a breach are very low.
